Primark is an International retailer that offers the latest fashion, beauty and homeware. It opened its first store in Dublin in 1969 under the name Penneys and today operates in over 390 stores, in thirteen countries across Europe and America.
As part of their continued expansion plans throughout the Europe, Primark opened the new 80,750sqft Rotterdam store in April 2021. With the new Rotterdam store, Primark now have 21 outlets in the Netherlands.
The new store’s electrical infrastructure design included a diesel generator, to provide emergency backup power to the site during a mains failure. PM POWER was nominated as the preferred supplier to supply and commission a new 700kVA standby rated diesel generator.
The generator is fitted in a close fit, sound attenuated, canopy and was successfully commissioned by the PM POWER Team in April 2021.
